In this retreat developed by Peter Riedl, you will receive instructions on how to overcome the five obstacles - addictive behavior, anger, fear, lack of energy and skeptical doubt - that stand in the way of a successful life.

Mindfulness helps us to consciously experience the moment and thus feel more joy in life. ‘To become content, we have to let go of our ego.’ In the ‘Mindfulness and joy of life’ retreat, you will learn techniques that are suitable for everyday life and how you can find more joy in your everyday life through mindful presence.

Discover the connection between mindfulness and joy of life! When we consciously perceive the moment, we experience life more intensely and with greater fulfilment. ‘Happiness arises when we are fully present in the moment.’ You will learn simple, everyday techniques to integrate serenity and joy into your life in the long term – for more ease, clarity and genuine joy in life!

Peter Riedl takes Buddha Shakyamuni’s great teaching on mindfulness and transfers it to today with a lot of experience and practical exercises and thus reveals a secret.

The seminar teaches you to distinguish reality from your own imagination and, above all, it teaches serenity as a path to freedom.

Through proper mindfulness practice, you can gain freedom of choice and lead a successful, contented life instead of a stressed and suffering one. How this can be achieved through the practice of mindfulness is her second secret and focus of this retreat.

The course begins with closing the door at home and ends with opening the door upon return.

Peli Kastri Guesthouse:
Stay right on the retreat grounds.

Our Guesthouse is located about 100 meters from the beach and borders directly on our olive grove at the rear. If you need some shade: in the lower part of the olive grove, right next to the house, you can relax, read, unwind, or even snack on a grapefruit straight from the tree, depending on the season, in a centuries-old, wildly romantic garden in the shade of the olive trees.

We have lovingly renovated the old house and offer:
8 double rooms, some with balconies, two of which can be upgraded to accommodate 3 guests with an extra bed. Each room has a direct or indirect sea view, as well as a kettle and a mini fridge. Guesthouse

Our rooms are beautifully furnished and serve as both a peaceful retreat and an ideal place to make dreams come true. Greek cotton, handmade details, and hand-picked furnishings with a view of the bay help you to completely surrender to well-being and relaxation. Just be.

On the ground floor, there is a lounge area for guests to use freely, as well as a spacious private terrace with stylish Greek accents that create a special atmosphere and invite you to enjoy breakfast or relax in the evening.

Meals with vegan and vegetarian options can be prepared at the tavern 50 meters away, right on the Beach
