Discover what lies within you and embark on a transformative journey to yourself. In a time when the world around us is becoming louder and more demanding, this retreat invites you to pause and engage in self-exploration—a journey within.
Led by Hans Peter Weidinger, Daniela Weidinger, and Michael Haid, with holistic support from Anna Maurer and Maryam Michels, intensive self-experience in Holotropic Breathwork combines with the powerful nature of South Pelion in Greece. The process is supported by meditation and mindful hiking, opening up a space for awareness, growth, and new vitality.
Holotropic Breathwork
In Holotropic Breathwork, developed by Stanislav Grof, consciously accelerated breathing, supportive music, process-oriented bodywork, and intuitive painting combine into an intensive experiential process. “Holotropic” is derived from the Greek “holos” and “trepein,” meaning “oriented toward wholeness.” In a safe and mindfully guided setting, participants turn their attention to the inner processes and experiences that flow into consciousness from an expanded space of perception. This allows hidden developmental potential in important areas of life to become accessible. Group debriefing of the breathing experiences helps participants recognize and understand their significance for personal development and integrate them into everyday life.
To start the day mindfully, we also offer sessions with silent and moving meditation.
The integration of the experience is also supported by mindful hiking:
We feel the ground beneath our feet, listen to the sounds of nature, and perceive colors, smells, and shapes with alert senses. Nature becomes a mirror of our inner selves. Through conscious walking, we find our own rhythm and connect with ourselves and the world around us. The experiences from the breathing sessions can be organized and further developed during this process.
“When you walk, walk in such a way that every step leads you home—into the present moment” (Thich Nhat Hanh).
