A week of mindful silence – surrounded by the tranquillity of an enchanting olive grove in Pelion.
Do you often feel stressed in your daily life, find yourself lost in worry, or want to leave behind burdensome feelings such as anger and self-doubt? This retreat is designed for people who want to gain a new perspective on their own lives. Spend a week in one of Greece’s most unspoilt locations and learn how to tackle everyday challenges with greater calm and joy in four steps.
The perfect balance between a holiday and personal practice
This seminar offers you a safe space away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We combine the restorative benefits of a Mediterranean holiday setting with in-depth inner work.
Twice a day – in the morning and afternoon – we come together for our group sessions, which last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. These consist of:
Guided meditation and mindfulness practice
Inspiring short talks
Space for feedback, discussion and your personal questions
We spend the rest of the day in mindful silence. This consciously chosen silence is a precious time, that you can spend entirely on your own – strolling beneath the olive trees, by the sea, or simply just being.
The Wisdom Method: 4 steps to greater inner peace
Our aim is not to dwell on problems in theory, but to provide you with practical tools. With the tried-and-tested Wisdom Method, you will learn four clear steps to make your life more peaceful and content in the long term:
Observing (concentration): We practise planning our day and meditation. Concentration means gathering the mind and consciously focusing one’s attention.
Looking In (Mindfulness): Introspection. Where exactly does my problem lie? We learn to recognise our inner patterns.
Recognising What Is (Examination): Neutral observation. Where am I getting annoyed? Where am I suppressing feelings? We examine our reactions without judgement.
Letting go (liberation): We develop ways in which we can tangibly let go of recognised problems and blocking emotions.
