5 days of fire, festivities and folklore in and around Peli Kastri.

Join us to experience Orthodox Easter in Greece and discover the wonderful traditions and customs that make this festival so unique.

Here you can experience the authentic Pascha festival (Greek Easter), far from the crowds, in a setting that nourishes the soul.

Greek Easter is a time for gathering and celebration, when traditions come to life.

Experience the atmosphere of Greek Easter during your trip and enjoy the warm hospitality of the locals.

Imagine that spring has only just begun, and you have the chance to experience the most important festival of the Greek Orthodox calendar. At Easter, Greece lights its candles. We invite you on a journey that is not just a ‘holiday’, but an immersion into the heart of the Aegean.

Greek Easter offers you the chance to experience unique traditions that have been passed down through the generations.

Why you should come along:

Celebrate Orthodox Easter in southern Pelion. It’s a rare treat: this year, the Greek Easter celebrations coincide with the Easter holidays.

  • Pure authenticity: no mass tourism. We celebrate on the beach, right in front of the guesthouse, and in mountain villages such as Lafkos, where traditions have been alive for centuries.
  • Exclusivity: Just 17 guests. An intimate setting that feels just like a visit to good friends.
  • The location: Peli Kastri is situated where the silvery olive groves meet the deep blue of the sea – in other words, right on the beach and in the heart of an olive grove.

Peli Kastri is in the perfect location for enjoying Greek Easter in all its splendour.

Are you ready for the real Greece?

Come and celebrate with us and experience a genuine Greek Easter, authentic and communal.

Peli Kastri follows the vision of Peter and Elisabeth Riedl and combines wild nature and tranquil places that only exist in the absolutely untouristy area of southern Pelion.
